Bailey immigrated to Canada at twelve. Famous for his speed and power as a champion sprinter, Bailey established himself in business between his high school and international athletic careers. During the 1990s, Bailey earned many athletic honours for his sprinting, including two Olympic gold medals at the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta. He retired from sprinting in 2001 and is now a sports commentator, consultant, and advocate for charitable work.
